Shetland
Sheep
We had
Lambs
Spring 2011!

We
have a small flock of registered Shetland Sheep

Ruadgh Rose is a
beautiful copper Light Moorit, a gentle soul with beautiful fleece. She is
the lead sheep of the trio.

Shaela Thorn looks
like marbleized Florentine
paper, and like a kaleidoscope, her color
changes with the seasons with a dark dorsal stripe in winter. She is an
Ag Grey Katmoget Ewe. She is a slightly larger
Shetland who is absolutely
gorgeous! Out of Sheltering Pines, Woolcote lines.

Willow is the
youngest of our Ewes.
She is a fawn Katmoget and
has a finer textured wool with even crimp. She is Thorn's sister,
from a repeat breeding.

 Lil'
Buddha, Moorit ram lamb has joined us from Kindred Spirit Farm.
He has a gorgeous primitive fleece and looks like he will have his
sire's impressive wide-set horns.
He
is more like a puppy than a sheep..follows you and enjoys any
attention he can get. If he is at all like his sire, Xander, we
should have some beautiful lambs!
Buddha was surgically wethered after giving us some gorgeous lambs
this spring. He has gone to live out his life, as part of a pet
assisted therapy program!
